Why Data Science?

This is a good place to say why I decided to start a website (with a blog). I think that some of the most important parts about being in such an exciting field such as Data Science is that you have to keep track of so many skills, topics, strategies, while also staying on top of what’s important and how things change. I think that in the past I’ve done a pretty poor job of doing some of those things so this blog is a way to help me organize.

So expect some stories, expect some how-tos, and maybe some advice that draws on my experience of when something went really wrong (or really right!). This blog will be all data science all the time with other parts of the website devoted to topics that I find interesting or important. I will also say that if you have any suggestions, corrections, thoughts about this page, I would appreciate them.
